piece of cake!

I've always been fond of sweets, from sugar coated candies to ice creams and chocolates ( i even like sweet home cooked meals like sweet adobo ^_^). Sweet foods somehow comfort me. So last week, after my class, I went to the mall to check out if the department store has new shoes but to my dismay they don't. I've been checking out the shoes from Parisian section hoping that the shoes I want from their holiday collection will be there. It's such a bummer because I really want to buy the Chanel, Irene and Elle shoes.

So yeah, back to the sweets. After checking out the department store, I passed by Red Ribbon and I couldn't resist the temptation. Their cakes looks so delish! So inside I went, looked at the cakes and bought the one that I've been craving for months.

Why the Brazo de Mercedes of course! Haha..
It's one of my all time favorites. It's a cake made in heaven. I love the spongy  texture of it that literally melts in  my mouth. And what I love most about this cake is the rich custard filling. It's a perfect cake for a sweet tooth me.  So I still went home happy even without new shoes. ^_^

And by the way, I finished the cake all by myself. Talk about dieting! Haha!
