bloodletting

Last November 30, 2010, May (my bff) and I joined for the second time the Dugong Atenista. It's a bloodletting activity done once a year our first time was two years ago (you can see some of the photos here). We were still very scared even though we already know what to expect. We both dreaded the pricking of our finger for the blood testing and it still hurt like hell (you'll see our reaction in the photos below).  The bloodletting itself was not that painful, I just felt dizzy and I felt like throwing up. After filling the bag with our blood we were asked to rest for 20 minutes and we were given free foods. ^_^
May and I were actually planning to go thrifting after the bloodletting but we realized afterwards that it was not a good idea. Haha.. So we went to the mall instead, ate at McDo and went window shopping. It was a fun day and the bloodletting was our bonding since we don't see each other that much anymore.
